Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Sets Up AFCON Final Viewing Center in Awka

Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, has established a dedicated viewing center in Awka, the state capital, for the upcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON) final match.

The highly anticipated match between Nigeria and the host nation, Cote d’Ivoire, will take place on Sunday.

The viewing center, named Solution Viewing Centre, is Governor Soludo’s way of showing support for the Super Eagles while encouraging Anambra residents to come out and cheer for the national team during the match.

According to the governor’s Press Secretary, Mr Christian Aburime, the Solution Viewing Centre will provide viewers with a spacious environment to enjoy the game. In addition, complimentary drinks and popcorn will be available for all attendees. The choice of Ekwueme Square as the location for the viewing center was based on its ample space.

The statement further highlighted that the center will feature side attractions, including a Disc Jockey (DJ) on stage, guest appearances, and more, to enhance the overall experience for viewers.

Governor Soludo has consistently expressed his support for the Super Eagles and has urged them to bring home the coveted cup. He recognizes that football transcends tribal, gender, and class boundaries, with both the low and high social strata expressing joy and happiness freely when their team performs well.

The AFCON final viewing center will officially open at 7:00 pm on Sunday, providing Anambra residents with a fantastic opportunity to come together and enjoy the thrilling match in a vibrant and supportive atmosphere.
